Dr. Sandrine Nkouga, DNP, is one of the provider at El Shaddai Clinic in Prairieville, Louisiana. She is originally from Cameroon, Africa, and moved to the United States at a young age. With a passion for helping others, Sandrine found her calling to provide medical care to patients at a young age when she cared for her severely injured older sister.
Sandrine earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Following undergrad, Sandrine completed her Master of Sciences in Nursing in Weston, Massachusettes, before ultimately receiving her Doctorate of Sciences in Nursing at Touro University of Nevada in Henderson, Nevada.
As a dedicated medical provider, Sandrine is also a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (CAOH) and a Pharmacovigilance Specialist (PV). She speaks French, English and Spanish fluently. She is a published author of multiple self-help Christian books. Sandrine has also worked in various leadership positions and settings throughout her career, notably in family medicine and Urgent Care.
Outside of the office, Sandrine is a wife and mother. She enjoys reading the Bible, spending time with her family, writing self-help books, cooking delicious meals, and making handmade candles and products.
